the genesis of the series Lola & Fred

The antecessor book of the series was named "Lola the turtle" published 2001 by Licorne edition in Switzerland. In this book there were a lot of basic approaches. Then the first book of the series "Lola & Fred" was published 2004 also by Licorne edition. At the childrens book fair in Bologna the book found the attention of a New Yorker publisher, 4N-Publishing. 2005 they published the first two books.

At the DIDAKTA fair in Basel the books of Lola & Fred found the interest of Schubi Learning Medias. 2006 they developed a whole series of articles with Lola & Fred.
Together with Swamp Film (Luzern) Christoph Heuer developed a 1 minute teaser Lola & Fred - Teaser and achieves 2008 a contract of coproduction with the Swiss Television, plus contributions of several film-foundations for a 4 minute shortfilm.

The mentioned successes of Lola & Fred have persuaded Christoph Heuer to found PÜL EDITION GmbH in 2009 and to print a new edition in a new format (A5) of the adventures of Lola & Fred.
